Hiking - Hiking is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the outdoors. Transported by your own two feet and carrying only what you need for the day on your back, you can discover the beauty of nature around every turn of the trail! You will generally camp in the same campground each night with access to some amenities.. . Backpacking - Backpacking is an adventure that blends hiking with backcountry camping. It lets you broaden your horizons beyond the car campground to enjoy a richer, more immersive outdoor experience. - 7:00 PM1h 30mBi-Weekly Meditation and DiscussionWake Up Tampa Bay is a mindfulness and meditation group for people aged 18 to 35.. . . . Come join us for our biweekly meditation and discussion in the Lotus Hall of the Florida Community Of Mindfulness Practice Center (~20-25 minutes from USF Tampa Campus). . . . . We will guide you through a 20-30 minute sitting meditation, followed by 10 minutes of walking meditation. Then we will read from a Dharma book together, discuss the teachings and share how we apply them to our life.. . . . Afterwards we will have tea and snacks downstairs in the Sangha Hall.. . Arrive late or leave early as needed. There is no charge for this event.. .
