Other institutions participating in Skyway 2024 include The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, the Sarasota Art Museum, and the Tampa Museum of Art. . . . . Skyway 2024: 12 Ways of Looking at a Landscape features artworks by Elisabeth Condon, Keith Crowley, John Gurbacs, Karen Tucker Kuykendall, Caui Lofgren, Bruce Marsh, Eric Ondina, Sebastian Ore Blas, Andrés Ramirez, Bradford Robotham, Erin Titus, and Susanna Wallin. Their artworks focus on a wide-open notion of landscape, invoking both the particularities of place and the universal ideas they provoke. - Sep 1410:30 AMA Trip to The Ringling Museum!Join The Adventure Club for a trip to The Ringling Museum! Immerse yourself in the circus of yesterday, marvel at stunning works of art from centuries before us, and explore the sprawling grounds and mansion of Ca’ d’Zan! All you have to do is sign up and show up with your USF ID! . . . . IMPORTANT INFORMATION:. . . . This experience will take place from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art at 5401 Bay Shore Rd, Sarasota, FL 34243. It is a 5 minute drive from USF Sarasota-Manatee but allow time for parking. Students can walk as well or ride bikes if residing on campus. Transportation will not be provided. Parking is free. . . Bring a bag or backpack for water as the museum requires you to keep it in a bag inside the exhibits. . . We have an unlimited number of tickets for this event but please register so we know how many people we can expect to be coming. Likewise, if you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration so we know you will no longer be able to attend. We also use registration for planning purposes and to gauge interest for future events. . . . . Students are expected to refrain from alcohol use and follow all safety policies while attending this off-campus event.
