Opportunity Details. . . . Trinity Cafe Nebraska - Breakfast. . . . WHAT TO EXPECT. . At Trinity Cafe, we serve our guests a nutritious sit-down hot meal. Volunteers will assume the role of restaurant “wait staff” and will serve tables, bus tables, host tables, and perform other restaurant tasks. A handful of volunteers will be assigned to assist in the outdoor drive-thru distribution. . . . . BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. . ALL volunteers MUST wear closed-toe shoes (i.e., sneakers). Volunteers wearing open-toe shoes will not be allowed to volunteer. Appropriate attire includes shirts with sleeves (no tank tops) and jeans or shorts of appropriate length.. . . . Interested in being outdoors and getting your hands a bit dirty in the process? Then heres a event for you! VISTA Gardens is a 3.31 acre Hillsborough Country Garden Park that looks to preserve the native foliage and butterfly population.. . . . At this garden, volunteers would be helping out with tasks that needs to be done (planting, some weeding, composting, etc). Please be sure to bring some sunscreen and sun protection (caps/hats) in addition to water and snacks. Also be sure to wear closed toed shoes that you do not mind getting a bit dirty.. . . . Gardening gloves, tools, equipment, and guidance will be provided.. . . . If you have any questions about the event, contact service chair Angela Atta-Armah at attaarmaha@usf.edu. . . .
