We are excited to welcome USF alumnus Mark Sopcik, CFA, Vice President at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

Mark has built an impressive career spanning financial services, asset management, and entrepreneurship. He began his career at PwC, spent seven years at AQR Capital Management in merger arbitrage, and later launched and led his own company. Today, as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, he partners with founder-led businesses, middle-market investment bankers, and successful individuals across Florida to deliver the firm’s world-class capabilities.

A Tampa native, Mark combines global finance expertise with a deep commitment to his community, helping clients navigate everything from exit planning and investing to estate strategies and philanthropy.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from his career journey and gain valuable insights into the world of private banking and investment management.
