  • Description
The Black Solidarity Conference at Yale is a student-run annual conference held in February. BSC is the largest undergraduate conference held at Yale University and continues to grow yearly! BSC invites over 700 undergraduates of various races, religions, ethnicities, and communities to discuss issues about the African Diaspora. Through discussions, panels, networking, and social gatherings, students nationwide analyze issues affecting the Black/Afro-Diasporic community and explore solutions that can be implemented on their college campuses. In the past, the conference has hosted Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, Angela Davis, Nikki Giovanni, and Cornel West as keynote speakers. They've also hosted artists such as J. Cole, Big Sean, Vic Mensa, and Phony Ppl as concert performers! In the following pages, you can discover how to register for the conference and participate in this amazing experience!. . . . We intend to only send a limited number of students to the conference. This is a pre-registration for participating with the Black Student Union. Pre-registration is open until June 23rd, and you must register here to be considered. The dates are not yet finalized. A random number generator will decide all participants.
