    Hello MIMbers! . . . . Minorities in Medicine have partnered with the Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful and will be hosting a group volunteering event at Takomah Trail Park! This event is a wonderful opportunity to earn volunteer hours while giving back to our community and contributing to a cleaner environment. At Minorities in Medicine, we believe that service and leadership go hand-in-hand with our mission to improve not just the health of individuals, but also the wellbeing of our local community.. . . . We will provide all necessary supplies for the clean-up, including gloves, bags, and recycling materials, so all you need to bring is your energy and enthusiasm. This event is a chance for everyone to come together, make new connections, and work towards a cleaner, greener environment. It also aligns with our broader values of promoting health and wellness for our local community, specifically the Tampa Bay area.. . . . Volunteer form can be found here: https://forms.gle/PyLSRJB9ndCCJ94p6. . . . WHEN: Monday, October 28th, 4PM-6PM. . WHERE: Takomah Trail Park, N Myrtle St, Tampa, FL 33617. . WHAT: Volunteers will meet at Takomah Trail Park and help with a park cleanup. . . . . REMINDERS:. . - Please wear closed toed shoes. . - A liability waiver will be given out at the time of event. . - Please arrive on time to allow for parking. . - All cleanup supplies are provided including reusable gloves, trash bags, trash pickers, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and bug spray.. . - Documentation of volunteer hours through Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful are available!. . - If you need a ride, let us know with the email below, and we can definitely arrange one for you. . . .
